Handmade Soap Production

Our superfat cleansing care is a cold saponified soap.

It is a handcrafted manufacturing method where the oils are neither heated, nor denatured, resulting in a soap rich in natural glycerin, in contrast to Marseille soap, for example, where the materials used are heated.

This method is also low in energy consumption and requires less water and electricity than industrially produced soaps, where the oils are denatured and synthetic colorants, fragrances, and sometimes animal fats are added.

A cold soap is a true cleansing "care" because it often contains rich butters (shea, cocoa…) and treatment oils.

The glycerin produced by cold saponification offers a better hydration of the skin, making the soap better suited for dry and sensitive skin.
